COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 3, 2026) – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that it has signed forward Elvis Amoh for the remainder of the 2026 season. The agreement is pending league and federation approval.
Amoh is no stranger to Colorado Springs, having previously represented the Switchbacks during the 2022 season. That year, he played a key role in the club’s historic run to the Western Conference Final, marking the first time in club history the Switchbacks advanced that far in the postseason. Amoh finished the campaign with 13 goals and four assists across 37 appearances.
Following his time in Colorado Springs, Amoh continued his USL Championship career, making stops with Hartford Athletic, Detroit City FC, Indy Eleven and Loudoun United FC. Across 92 appearances with those clubs, he recorded 20 goals and seven assists.
“Elvis [Amoh] is an experienced goal scorer who we all know and love. His character is top-notch, and he consistently leaves it all out on the field in every game,” said Alan McCann. “We’re really looking forward to having him back to add even more quality to the locker room and on the field.”
Amoh began his professional career in 2015 with Asante Kotoko SC of the Ghanaian Premier League. He later spent a season with the West African Football Academy before returning to Asante Kotoko in 2018. In 2017, Amoh also featured for Capital City FC in the Canadian Soccer League.
In 2019, Amoh made the move to the USL Championship, joining Loudoun United FC. Across two seasons with the club, he recorded eight goals and 16 shots on target, posting an 18.3 percent conversion rate. He continued his scoring form after joining Rio Grande Valley FC in 2021, tallying 13 goals in 22 appearances, finishing the season as the club’s leading scorer.
