Colorado Springs Switchbacks Suffers Defeat Against San Diego Loyal
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO (July 14th, 2023) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks had a difficult night at home territory against San Diego with the final score of 0-5.
The beginning of a rough night for the Switchbacks started with a San Diego goal within less than a minute by #14 Adrien Perez and shot the ball right outside the 18.
The Switchbacks were climbing uphill with San Diego scoring four goals in the first half and with the good guys being down a player with #15 Romario Williams receiving a red card in the 15th minute.
With the second half commencing, the Switchbacks were having difficulty especially when the San Diego Loyal tacked on another goal halfway through the second half which solidified the final score of 0-5.
The Colorado Springs Switchbacks are headed for the road these next two upcoming weeks, but will be back at home territory on August 4th for our Pirates and Princesses night as we take on Birmingham Legion FC. For tickets to that match, and all others, head HERE.
