COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (July 31, 2026) – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that it has signed Jesus Sandoval De Las Aguas to a USL Academy contract for the 2026 season. The agreement is pending league and federation approval.
As a USL Academy signing, Sandoval will train and compete for the Switchbacks in the USL Championship and Prinx Tires USL Cup without forgoing their NCAA eligibility.
“Sandoval has been exceptional since arriving at the club. From day one, he has demonstrated a relentless desire to improve, bringing intensity and professionalism to every training session,” said Switchbacks II Head Coach Keelan Power. “His commitment to his development is a testament to the pathway we strive to provide, and we’re excited to see what comes next in his journey.”
Sandoval established himself as a dominant player with the Switchbacks II team, earning him a USL Academy contract. Playing for the second team, Sandoval has made seven appearances, scored nine goals and had three assists.
