Colorado Springs, CO (September 19, 2026) — The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC earned a point at home and extended their regular season unbeaten streak to four matches following a 0-0 draw with New Mexico United.
The Switchbacks controlled much of the first half, maintaining a 61.3% possession, firing seven shots, and recording 33 entries into the final third. Despite the strong start, the two sides would head into the halftime break tied 0-0.
Colorado Springs continued to apply pressure in the second half in search of the opening goal, attempting 16 second-half shots, including five on target, but were unable to break through and ultimately settled for one point.
Goalkeeper #1 Christian Herrera finished the match with three saves, while #6 Sam Williams created four chances, and #24 Talen Maples recorded three interceptions.
