As a USL Academy signing, Sandoval will train and compete for the Switchbacks in the USL Championship and Prinx Tires USL Cup without forgoing their NCAA eligibility.
Sandoval established himself as a dominant player with the Switchbacks II team, earning him a USL Academy contract. Playing for the second team, Sandoval has made seven appearances, scored nine goals and had three assists.
