Colorado Springs, CO (March 29, 2022) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and the USL Championship officially announced today that Cam Lindley and Matt Mahoney have been named to the Team of the Week for Week 3 of the 2022 season, presented by Cleer Audio.
Cam Lindley is a dominant player on the pitch, and created six chances, won six of six duels, and made 10 recoveries in the Switchbacks’ 2-0 win with Birmingham Legion FC, earning his spot in the week 3 Team of the Week.
Matt Mahoney was named to the Team of the Week after winning 7 of 9 duels, making 13 recoveries, and
completing 43 of 54 passes – helping the Colorado Springs Switchbacks earn their third consecutive win – the franchise’s best season start in their history.
Hadji Barry was named to the Team of the Week bench after recording an assist, with 6 of 7 duels won and a passing accuracy of 71.7%.
This marks the Switchbacks third consecutive win for the 2022 season, the best start to a season in the franchise’s history.
