Steven Echevarria Named to Team of the Week for Week 18
Colorado Springs, CO (July 11th, 2023) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and the USL Championship officially announced today that Steven Echevarria has been named to the Team of the Week for Week 18 of the 2023 season, presented by Konami eFootball.
Steven Echevarria played a phenomenal game on Tuesday, July 4th’s match against Monterey Bay F.C. The 4-0 final score was a major win for the Switchbacks and two goals came from Echevarria, keeping their winning streak alive.
Echevarria’s first goal of the night was a quick rebound off the opposing teams goalie, which then was tipped right into the net. Towards the end of the match, Echevarria made his second goal by rocketing the ball from outside of the 18, hitting the crossbar.
