The Switchbacks Grand Home Opener is set for May 21 where the team will face New Mexico United in the first USL Championship game at Weidner Field. This will be the first official game in the new 8,000-seat state of the art stadium in Downtown Colorado Springs. Weidner Field is set to be the highest elevated professional stadium in the USL Championship and the United States at 6,035 ft.
