Colorado Springs, CO (November 8, 2016) – As part of the Peak Vista’s Breakfast of Champions, Switchbacks’ midfielder Luke Vercollone received the opportunity to speak in front of over 200 teen soccer players alongside US Soccer legend Mia Hamm and several other panelists.
Vercollone spoke about the importance of diet and nutrition as well as practicing outside of their team’s normal training times and that repetition was one of the keys to becoming a great soccer player. Vercollone then gave a demonstration on juggling, teaching the teens in attendance on some of the keys to being able to juggle. The teens were then able to visit the Switchbacks’ table and juggle alongside Vercollone as he signed autographs for those in attendance.
The panel included US Soccer Legend Mia Hamm, Lieutenant David Edmondson of the Colorado Springs Police Deparment, Peak Vista Medical Provider Kim Redinger, and PhD Sarah Brown who is the Peak Vista Behavioral Health Provider.
