The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC officially announced a major partnership with Oakwood Homes today at their Support System in Southeast Colorado Springs.
The partnership continues the Switchbacks commitment to the Colorado Springs Community by partnering with a major player in the city. The Switchbacks partnered with Oakwood Homes last year to bring fans an Independence Fireworks show following the July 1st match against Rio Grande Valley. With the success of last year's event, both parties are very excited about expanding their partnership ahead of the 2018 season.
"We are thrilled to support the Colorado Springs area through our partnership with the Switchbacks,” said Aric Jones, president of Oakwood Homes Colorado Springs division. “This collaboration is representative of Oakwood Homes commitment to building great communities and supporting those communities so that they can thrive."

Oakwood Homes will again sponsor this year's match with fireworks to celebrate Independence Day. The date of the match is still to be determined when the USL officially announces the full 2018 schedule, which is expected later this week. They will also be the official "Goal Sponsor" for the 2018 season.
The Switchbacks will kick their 2018 USL campaign on March 17 as they host LA Galaxy II at 6:00 PM at Weidner Field for St. Paddy's day celebration with fireworks and green beer. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
