



COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Nov. 30, 2022) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that Triston Hodge, Kharlton Belmar, Issa Rayyan, and Beverly Makangila would not be returning for the 2023 season.
Hodge spent two seasons with the Switchbacks, joining ahead of the 2021 season, and made 46 appearances across the two seasons. A classic defender, Hodge made 41 clearances and 25 interceptions, while holding a passing accuracy of 81.1%. He also notched one assist and made nine key passes throughout the season.
Kharlton Belmar came to the Switchbacks for the 2022 season from Sacramento Republic FC, and made 28 appearances for a total of 595 minutes. He earned one assist and four key passes, and held a passing accuracy of 70.1%.
This was the first season with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC for Issa Rayyan, and despite injury he made 21 appearances for a total of 597 minutes. He made 11 key passes with the team this season and held a passing accuracy of 74.1%.
Beverly Makangila leaves the Switchbacks after two seasons with the team, joining in 2021 from San Diego Loyal SC. This season Makangila earned one assist across 27 appearances and had a total of 1,544 minutes tallied. He made 26 clearances and 39 tackles, as well as five key passes and an average passing accuracy of 85.9%.
