Colorado Springs, CO (September 1, 2017) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, officially announced today they will be selling special edition jerseys to help people affected by Hurricane Harvey through the American Red Cross. Weidner Apartment Homes, a key Switchbacks partner, has graciously announced they will be matching all funds raised through the jersey sales.
The Switchbacks will be selling special edition jerseys with the number four and "TEXAS" across the top. The jerseys will be available through the online store as well as at the Switchbacks next home match on September 9th. The Switchbacks will be donating 100% of the proceeds from the jersey to the American Red Cross to help people affected by Hurricane Harvey which hit Texas last week.
In addition to proceeds from the special edition jerseys, the Switchbacks will also be donating $1 from every Budweiser, Bud Light, and hot dog sold at the Switchbacks September 9th match against Phoenix Rising FC. The Special edition jerseys will also be available at the match. Tickets start at just $12 and are available here.
