As part of a continuous commitment to the Colorado Springs Community and a continued partnership with the American Heart Association. The Switchbacks teamed up with Mended Little Hearts to surprise kids who have had serious issues with their hearts. After a morning event hanging with actors dress as Star Wars Characters, the Switchbacks hosted Mended Little Hearts at Weidner Field. The Switchbacks received the opportunity to play soccer and interact with the kids prior to their Sunday training session and provided the kids an experience they'll never forget.
