The next home Switchbacks game is on June 9th when the Swope Park Rangers are welcomed to town on Star Wars Cancer Awareness night. Two points is all that separates these two teams in the standings in a matchup between teams currently in playoff positions.
The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a red or blue Saber courtesy of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services. Throughout the stadium, fans will be able to meet and take pictures with Star Wars characters such as the stormtroopers and Darth Vader. The players will also be wearing Chewbacca themed warm-up jerseys with the Switchbacks player names and numbers that will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the Penrose-St. Francis Health Foundation. Tickets start at just $12 and are available here. Fans 21+ can get $1 beer the first 30 minutes when gates open at 5:00 PM.
