- 1. Home Opener
- March 16th marks the first home game of the season at Weidner Field where the Switchbacks will be taking on Sacramento Republic FC. The Switchbacks have a positive record for the home opener, going 2-1-1 since the inaugural season in 2015. Colorado Springs also have the edge against Sacramento all-time, leading the head to head record 3-2-2 in all competitions. There will also be a firework show after the game for a St. Patrick's Day celebration to kick the season off right.

Real life Star Wars characters were also in attendance to watch the game so don't miss out on the fun when the Switchbacks help another good cause this year!
