Colorado Springs, CO (January 26, 2021) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC have acquired an international roster spot for the 2021 season and an undisclosed transfer fee from OKC Energy FC in exchange for midfielders Hiroki Kurimoto and Aidan Daniels, the club announced today.
"We would like to thank Aidan for his service to the club, he is a player with a bright future in the game and we wish him every success along the way. Our focus is shaping the roster in a way that allows us to move the club forward competitively in order to match the momentum and expectation that our move to Weidner Field will bring in 2021," said Switchbacks Head Coach, Brendan Burke.
"Hiroki was a very consistent performer for us in 2020 and a pleasure to work with every day. We believe that we have reached a deal that benefits both clubs and provides a good opportunity for both players to continue in USL. We wish them the best in Oklahoma City," said Switchbacks General Manager, Brian Crookham.
