Colorado Springs, CO (April 30, 2021) – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today their promotions calendar for the 2021 season in their brand new venue, Weidner Field. Highlighting the event will be a nightly fireworks show at the culmination of every single home game.
The Switchbacks home opener is set for May 21 with our Grand Home Opener where Weidner Apartment Homes will be giving away jersey tees. The Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza is back in 2021 with a two game celebration of the biggest fireworks show in Southern Colorado.
Popular promotion items that are returning include bucket hats (August 28, presented by Pikes Peak National Bank), sabers on Galactic Night (August 7, presented by Centura Health), bobbleheads (July 23, presented by Fox21 News), seat cushions (July 4, presented by Phil Long), Free Underwear Night (October 2, presented by Sheath), and a Mustache Night (September 25, presented by Better Business Bureau).
Among the new promotions will be co-branded masks (June 16, presented by Capelli), mini soccer stress balls (July 17, presented by Diversus Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing For All), and full size soccer balls (October 16, presented by Comcast).

The Switchbacks will open their season play in the USL Championship on May 1 when the team travels to San Antonio, TX to face the San Antonio FC. The Switchbacks home opener is set for May 21 where the team will face New Mexico United.
