Wednesday August 4th, Switchbacks Entertainment hosted a familiarization event at Weidner Field.
The event, meant for event planners and tourist board members in the COS area, was designed to provide an opportunity for professionals to familiarize themselves with Weidner Field as a possible event space for their clients.
Over fifty people RSVP’d to the event and came out on Wednesday to enjoy what Weidner Field had to offer. The event included in house catering Levy Restaurants, access to the locker rooms and the field, as well as free range tour of all the club spaces available at Weidner Field.
With the ability to host events as small as 25 and as large as 15,000, this season Switchbacks Entertainment has already helped to host multiple large corporate events as well as small office lunches, birthday parties, a celebration of life and four concerts.
Switchbacks Entertainment and Weidner Field are looking forward to three more concerts in September as well as a Brewfest, and is in the planning stages of some fun holiday themed events for the members of Colorado Springs.
