Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes all sorts of exciting things, including the Switchbacks Home Opener! But March is also Women’s History Month, and this year the Switchbacks are celebrating with a never before event – our Women’s Empowerment Night Panel.
Join us March 19th before our home match against Monterey Bay Union, as we gather with several prominent and successful women from the sports and business community to discuss what it’s like, and what it takes, to be a strong woman in a male dominated field.
Our panelists for the day include: Kristen Washburn, Assistant General Manager of the Switchbacks; Candy Brooks, Executive Director of Pride Soccer; Hillary Saba, Former USA Judo Olympian and actress; Jennifer Grubb, Former US Women’s National Soccer Team Member, and Amy Parrott, Executive Chef at Levy Restaurants, and in-house chef for Weidner Field. Moderating the panel will be Switchbacks FC Communications Manager Tyler Cutler.
