Here at the Switchbacks, we take the mentality of ‘My City My Team’ to heart, and the things we do as a team off the field are just as important to us as what happens on the pitch. That includes the projects and relationships we build with the community around us as well. That’s why our Give Back program is so special!
Our ticket giveback program is an opportunity for nonprofits to team up with the Switchbacks for group outings and ticket purchases, with a portion of all ticket sales going back directly to the group. Your support of our team helped make this one of our favorite seasons so far, and we loved being able to give back to your group as a thank you for all your hard work in supporting us.
In 2023, The Switchbacks made special edition jerseys for Mental Health Awareness Night. The jersey included pops of purple and teal colors throughout the design in support of Suicide Prevention Awareness. If you would like to purchase the limited special edition jersey, click HERE. After the Mental Health Awareness game, the Switchbacks auctioned off all of the player worn jerseys and had the proceeds go directly to Mt. Carmel.
The Switchbacks also have a limited edition Mt. Carmel Veteran Services Switchbacks scarf and a portion of the proceeds go to Mt. Carmel. To purchase the scarf, click HERE.
“In a non-profit, having fiscal support to run the programs is important. We need to keep the lights on. What we do isn’t for free. There are people that deliver the services, ” said Mt. Carmel Executive Director Bob McLaughlin. “Every dollar that comes into Mt. Carmel, two go back out into the community. All of the time, talent, treasure, volunteer, resource, and fiscal support is all critical to making this happen.”
Colorado Springs is proud to have such a strong military background, and supporting veterans and other members of the military is incredibly important to the values of our team here at the Switchbacks. Being able to create connections with groups like Mt. Carmel is why we built our GiveBack program, and we are so excited to see what this unique partnership will be able to accomplish in the future!
