Damus, 24, spent the last season on a loan from GIF Sundsvall to San Diego Loyal SC playing for a total of 1,964 minutes and racking up 15 goals. Before joining SD Loyal, he signed with GIF Sundsvall back in 2022. Throughout his first season in Sweden’s Allsvenskan, the country’s first division, he recorded five goals and two assists in 27 matches.
This forward made his USL League One debut in 2019 with North Texas SC and helped the team win the USL League One Players’ Shield and the USL League One Final in his first year with the club. He was named to the 2019 USL League One All-League First Team and won the USL League One Golden Boot with 16 goals.
In 2021, Damus jumped to the USL Championship with Orange County SC, where he earned 18 goals and three assists in 31 games. He played a crucial role in helping the team win the USL Championship Final in the 2021 season, scoring twice as Orange County claimed the title on his way to being named USL Championship Final MVP.
A native of Haiti, Damus has also competed for his country at the senior level. The 24-year-old has recorded seven appearances for Les Grenadiers, including being named to the squad for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup.

At only 24, he has a lot of experience in his career to date with a proven track record of scoring goals consistently,” said Technical Director & Assistant Coach, James Chambers. “His strong mentality and desire to continue developing are two qualities that are valued within our organization. The passion and energy he shows for the game will only complement the core group of players we already have in the building. We are delighted to welcome him to the club for the 2024 season. ”
